MD100E Handheld ECG Monitor
The MD100E is an Ultra-Portable ECG Unit with a 2.8-inch color TFT screen. It is ideal for EMS/Rescue, physicians, home care, and patient use. 1-lead 30 second ECG Strips and patient test results display on the backlit screen in under 30 seconds. The monitor’s 0.5 to 75-hertz frequency response provides optimal signal quality for an accurate measurement. Configuration options include storage management for 30-second strips and a continuous mode for extended monitoring.
The heart monitor features built-in measurement data storage, auto shut-down, and a low battery status indicator. The device does not require external wires or cables for ECG tests. In under 30 seconds, the electrode sensors measure ECG based on Lead I, II, or III mode options. ECG cables and electrodes are also compatible with this monitor for testing ECG via a wired connection. Grid marks on the unit have a separation interval of 5mm.
This ECG monitor integrates with the included software for transferring data to a PC. Users can export analysis reports with the software and archive or print results. The monitor uses USB or a 3-lead ECG cable for connecting to a PC.

Patients may hold the machine’s electrodes between both hands (Lead I), against the left leg with the right hand (Lead II), or against the chest with the right hand (chest lead). Dry skin may cause high impedance, resulting in poor signal quality. Applying water or gel to the skin may improve impedance and ECG signal quality.
For improved signal quality, the optional limb clips and snap-ECG electrode cables are also compatible with the MD100E. Patients can wear the limb clips on their wrist or leg for a secure reading. To reduce artifacts and noise, users should apply gentle pressure to the limb clips. The limb clips are also effective for geriatric patients with thin skin that might react poorly to electrode use. For the best signal quality and the minimal amount of noise on the real-time ECG waveform, use the 3-lead cable with electrodes applied.
The user should always relax when taking measurements. Muscle action may cause noise to appear on the ECG signal.
The unit will automatically power off within 1 to 10 minutes without detecting any key input (user-configurable).
